The Penitencier Moleskin Pant is crafted from 100% heavyweight cotton moleskin (495 g/m²) – a tightly woven fabric known for its soft, suede-like feel and exceptional durability. The name “moleskin” comes from the English phrase “mole skin,” referencing its smooth, velvety texture. Originally favored in French workwear of the 1920s–30s, this rugged yet refined material offers outstanding resistance to wear, while remaining breathable and comfortable.
Handcrafted in France and Europe, this pant reflects traditional craftsmanship with a timeless silhouette and authentic construction details.

We ship freight-free with DHL within Germany for purchases over €50. For a small additional charge, we also ship by express with UPS. You will be given this option during the checkout process before purchase.
European Union
We ship with DHL or UPS within Europe. Freight costs will be calculated at checkout depending on your location .
We charge local VAT on the purchase price. Since we are a German shop, we display our prices with our local VAT of 19%. In some European countries, the VAT is slightly higher and this is added to the price.
