The Newsboy Cap was popular in Europe and North America in the early 20th century among both boys and adult men. As the name suggests, this headwear was predominately worn by working-class boys, especially newspaper boys. The style was also preferred by the middle-class businessmen who disliked the bulkiness of top hats, also popular at the time.

Harris Tweed is a tweed cloth that is handwoven by islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, finished in the Outer Hebrides, and made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides. This definition, quality standards and protection of the Harris Tweed name are enshrined in the Harris Tweed Act 1993
