Featuring a center dent crown with a standard turn-down brim, the Hester fedora is finished with a striped grosgrain ribbon. Fitted with a sweatband for comfort, you'll be able to wear the Hester every day, all day.

Fedora

The name of the Fedora hat goes back to the eponymous play "Fédora" in 1882. In the 1940s and 50s, it was mainly worn by film noir characters and became known as the Bogart hat thanks to Humphrey Bogart.

Typical features are a medium-wide brim (bent downwards at the front, curved at the back) and a crown with a hatband that is pinched on both sides

Toyo braid (Toyolene)

Toyo straw is a lightweight and flexible material made from cellulose fiber and nylon that are joined together in a tightly braided fashion. The combination of these materials sewn together in this way gives the end material added strength and structure.
