ASTORFLEX BOOTFLEX 1156 – WAXED SUEDE BOOTS
The Astorflex Bootflex is exactly the kind of boot we like: uncomplicated, honestly made and far removed from fast fashion. A classic lace-up boot crafted from waxed, vegetable-tanned suede, made in Italy and built to be worn – not preserved.
What really gives the Bootflex its character is the leather. Astorflex uses 100% vegetable-tanned cowhide suede, which is then greased and waxed to create its distinctive, slightly irregular used effect. Variations in colour, lighter areas, marks and changes to the surface are not imperfections – they are part of the character of the leather.
And it only gets better with wear.
Inside, Astorflex follows the same philosophy. Both the lining and insole are made from vegetable-tanned calf leather, creating a naturally comfortable environment around the foot and allowing the leather to breathe.
Underneath sits a 100% natural crepe rubber sole, made from coagulated latex harvested from the rubber tree. Soft, flexible and naturally cushioning, it gives the Bootflex its unmistakably comfortable feel from the first steps.

NATURAL MATERIALS. TRADITIONAL CONSTRUCTION.
Astorflex relies heavily on natural materials. The upper, lining and insole use vegetable-tanned leathers, traditionally tanned using natural tannins derived from materials including oak bark and mimosa.
The natural crepe outsole is made from latex obtained from the rubber tree. Combined with its repairable construction, the result is a more sustainable approach to footwear without turning sustainability into a marketing exercise.
The philosophy is actually much simpler:
Use good materials. Build it properly. Wear it for a long time. Repair it when necessary.
