Fleurs de Bagne – B-10 Aviator Flight Jacket – Khaki Ripstop

Introduced by the US Army Air Forces in 1943, the original B-10 flight jacket was developed for bomber crews operating in the demanding conditions of the Second World War. Its practical construction, short silhouette and distinctive aviator collar established a design that would become part of the enduring vocabulary of American military clothing.

Fleurs de Bagne revisits this historical garment with its B-10 Aviator Flight Jacket, retaining the functional character of the original while introducing carefully selected European materials and traditional manufacturing techniques.

The outer shell is constructed from Italian water-repellent cotton ripstop, a tightly woven fabric developed to resist tearing. A stone-washed treatment and deliberately aged finish give the khaki cloth subtle variations in tone and texture, recalling the appearance of well-worn military equipment.

Inside, a natural sheep's wool lining provides insulation, complemented by an aviator collar that can be fully closed with an additional buttoned throat tab.

Two buttoned flap pockets with side openings offer practical storage and hand access, while two internal patch pockets provide additional space. A heavy-duty YKK two-way brass zipper completes the front closure.

Knitted 2×2 ribbed cuffs and waistband maintain the characteristic shape of the original flight jacket.

Manufactured in France and Europe by Hervier Productions, this interpretation of the B-10 reflects Fleurs de Bagne's longstanding interest in historical workwear, military garments and traditional European craftsmanship.
