The Pike Brothers 1928 Hunting Vest is a typical representative of the D-pocket hunting waistcoats that came onto the market at the end of the 1920s. The waistcoats were very popular as they offered plenty of storage space and also protected the wearer from the weather and undergrowth.
The main feature of these waistcoats was the large D-shaped pocket openings at the front. This is why they are also known to collectors as D-pocket waistcoats. In addition, the waistcoat has enough storage space to carry everything you need for hunting or urban challenges;
Pike have used their tried and tested waxed Junglecloth as the fabric. The fabric is particularly abrasion-resistant and the wax coating makes it ideal for withstanding wind and weather.
