The Mechanic Jacket is nothing new. Iron & Resin started making this cut years ago to provide a layering that was ready to work under the hood deep into any season. It started with a 10oz duck cotton canvas back in 2018, worked on a heavier 15oz waxed canvas with our friends at New Legend 4x4 just last year, and came up with this one as the newest version.

Built with 12oz British Millerain Co. waxed cotton, the Mechanic Jacket provides excellent wind and water resistance, making this outerwear piece a super versatile jacket. Designed with a front button entry with custom metal shank buttons, it'll keep the vitals warm when necessary. They gave the jacket double needle felled seams throughout so you know it’s in it for the long haul, especially once that patina starts developing on the 12oz British Millerain Co. canvas. Ready for a lifetime of wear, and more.

Shipping, VAT and Tax Free

Germany

We ship freight-free with DHL within Germany for purchases over €50. For a small additional charge, we also ship by express with UPS. You will be given this option during the checkout process before purchase.

European Union

We ship with DHL or UPS within Europe. Freight costs will be calculated at checkout depending on your location . You can also choose DHL or UPS at checkout.

We charge local VAT on the purchase price. Since we are a German shop, we display our prices with our local VAT of 19%. In some European countries, the VAT is slightly higher and this is added to the price.

UK / Switzerland and rest of the world

We ship worldwide with DHL or UPS.

Freight costs will be calculated at checkout depending on your location. You can also choose DHL or UPS at checkout.

If your delivery address is outside the European Union, you are entitled to purchase tax-free. The price will then be displayed without taxes.

Customs & import duties

International orders shipped outside the European Union are tax-free but may be subject to customs duties and VAT in your country.

Due to new regulations, US citizens do not pay customs duties if the purchase price does not exceed 800USD. For other countries, please contact your local customs authority.
