The Red Wing 2972 Steel Toe Engineer is a very exclusive shoe, originally only available in Japan. This style was originally conceived as a working shoe of the railwaymen at the beginning of the 20th century. In the 1950s this boat gained more and more popularity in the American motorcycle scene and is still today the epitome of an authentic "Bikerstiefel". This boot is made by hand from the popular Copper Rough & Tough and the Neoprene Cord sole, which is rounded off by the traditional Curved Heel at the in-house in Red Wing, Minnesota. This leather type is distinguished by a particularly fast and beautiful patination. Maximum durability and an optimal wearing comfort are clearly the focus of this shoe.
